NEW MEDITERRANEO RINGS!

I have made two new rings using beautiful beach pottery finds... The first piece was picked by my lovely cousin Sylvia on a beautiful Mediterranean beach of the Riviera. The white glaze pattern is so beautiful, and I just highlighted part of it with turquoise acrylic paint. I find the color combination of the terracotta, white and turquoise quite amazing! Doesn't it remind you of Greek island architecture?

The second ring is made using a piece of beach pottery I picked on a beautiful beach of my beloved Rhodes. I highlighted the original light teal/grey blue surface with a tiny golden circle created with dimensional acrylic paint.

What beautiful memories that little piece of art brings up to me!!!And it looks really like part of a Greek landscape..blue windows, pastel coloured houses , little tavernas on the Aegean........<3!!!!

It's incredible what gifts come from the sea... and what was originally discarded by man is turned into a lovely piece of art by the sea!
